Heading for Home and the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Southwestern New Hampshire are co-sponsoring a public Home Improvement Seminar aimed at those who are selling, buying or renovating their homes. The seminar is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13 in the Community Room at Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene.
The first part of the program will feature presentations by three expert panelists. The panel members include, Edie Fifield, an EcoBroker with Better Homes and Gardens, The Masiello Group in Keene. Earl Horn, owner and operator of Threshold Home Inspection. He is a Licensed Home Inspector, Certified Radon Analyst and Registered Pest Inspector. Gretchen Tilson, the sole proprietor of The Shire Energy Efficiency Consulting with many certifications including HERS Rater, BPI Building Analyst, Proctor and Envelope Specialist, and NAHBRC Accredited Verifier.
During the second part of the event, the panelists will answer audience questions and lead a discussion on topics including: How to stage your home for sale, What buyers are looking for in a home, What are the most important infrastructure issues to resolve and Which energy efficiency improvements have the greatest impact.
